Autumn/fall, or “Aki” in Japanese, is the most beautiful season in Japan. The autumns colored leaves, known as 紅葉 koyo, create to most spectacular vistas of Japan and like sakura in spring, watching the rich colored leaves in autumn is a super popular activity.
Autumn is the season where we begin to calm the system after the energy of summer. The leaves start to change colour, we begin to notice a chill in the air and the ground starts to feel damper underfoot. During fall season, we recommend to eat foods that are a little heavier and warming for your body, and gently warm the body in many ways.
This seasonal treatment captures inner peace in moments of joy and gratitude. For seasonal plants, we choose Japanese eucalyptus and the trunk of a Japanese cypress tree. Use autumn herbs for your treatment, and enjoy chrysanthemum tea after your treatment.
